Sautéed Bok Choy

I threw this recipe together taking pieces of my sauteed cabbage recipe and using it for the bok choy. You can substitute any variety of cabbage into this recipe, to include the Chinese Cabbage. You could also add some red pepper flakes for a spicy kick when you add your thyme.

Prep Time: 5 Minutes | Cook Time: 20 Minutes

Ingredients

  • Two heads of Bok Choy, chopped and including stems

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1-2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar, to taste

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh Thyme, to taste

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet

  2. Add garlic and onions to skillet and cook until translucent and fragrant

  3. Add your chopped cabbage and sprinkle with salt, pepper and thyme

  4. Stir and then add your apple cider vinegar

  5. Leave cabbage alone for 10-15 minutes letting the cabbage caramelize

  6. Taste and add any additional apple cider vinegar

  7. Serve!
